Tampa Steel Erecting Company is actively seeking qualified candidates to join our award winning structural steel fabrication business.

Steel Fabrication – Steel fabricator candidate will preferably be familiar with some or all of the following skills: using overhead cranes, welding, drilling, grinding; fitting, laying out parts for fit-up, dimensional checks, reading shop drawings, operating steel fabrication equipment, including CNC (computer numerically controlled) machines, such as plate and angle processors.

Industrial Painting – Industrial painter candidate will preferably be familiar with sand blasting and painting; operating conventional and airless paint pumps/sprayers; recycling paint waste.

Mechanic/Maintenance – Mechanic/Maintenance candidate will preferably be familiar with diesel engines and hydraulics to diagnose, repair and maintain a fleet of trucks, tractors, trailers, manlifts, and forklifts; electrical and mechanical skills to maintain and repair overhead cranes, drills, brake press, shear machine, air compressors, and welding machines. The candidate must possess basic necessary tools to perform general preventative maintenance duties.
